| Image ICT Solutions ltd T/A Image Office Supplies aim is to be the principal source of supply for the delivery of office and related products to the Irish Market in the North East Region. In doing so we recognise that our operations will have an impact on the environment.
Concern for the environment will be a fundamental part of decision making in all aspects of the company’s activities, including capital investment and in allocation of resources. We will implement and support the environmental management system that is appropriate to our potential environmental impact.
Image ICT Solutions ltd T/A Image Group will aim to:
1. Operate in ways that contribute to lowering energy and fuel usage, reducing carbon emissions, and reducing and recycling waste throughout the entire supply chain.
2. Analyse our activities to ensure any risk of pollution, contamination or other environmental impact is controlled and, if possible, eliminated.
3. Ensure, as a minimum, compliance with all applicable legal requirements, as well as meeting or exceeding other requirements appropriate to the company’s activities.
4. Recognise our key customers environmental interests, and work with them to ensure their interests are considered in our environmental strategies.
5. Consider key suppliers’ environmental policies and credentials as part of the process for evaluation and selection.
6. Monitor and report, internally and externally, the environmental impact of the company’s operations.
7. Strive for continual environmental improvement through the setting and reviewing of objectives and targets.
The company Environmental Policy was first approved by the Directors of Image ICT Solutions ltd T/A Image Group in December 2006 and has been regularly reviewed and, when appropriate, updated. This updated Policy was approved on 15th November 2007.

Environmental Initiatives
Transport Initiatives
Since 2007, we have been focussed on introducing the most fuel-efficient vehicles into our transport fleet. Spicers have also purchased specialist software to plan our delivery routes more efficiently and to minimise unnecessary mileage. Even though we are delivering 28% more parcels than two years ago, we have reduced our fuel consumption by 47% and our CO2 emissions are down by 87%.
Landfill
We are on track to meet our target of reducing the amount of waste we send to landfill by 30% in 2007/08.
Paper Initiatives
Our Office is as much paperless as we can get it. All deliveries etc are done using a Handhelp device to reduce paper. This has reduced our reliance on paper and docket books by 100%. And also means we invoice much faster.
